Welcome to the official website of the School of Future Leaders and Young Entrepreneurs (hereinafter referred to as "So FLYE," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website located at soflye.org (the "Site"), or any digital portals, applications, or resources provided by So FLYE, you (the "User," "Parent," "Guardian," or "Visitor") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the "Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using this Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By navigating this Site, submitting enrollment inquiries, applying for faculty positions, or interacting with our digital ecosystem, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise explicitly stated, all content, features, and functionality on this Site—including but not limited to the text, software, code, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, and the unique structural design of the "Executive Stack," "Agile Classroom," and "Bimodal Split-Shift Schedule"—are the exclusive proprietary intellectual property of So FLYE and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and download Site materials strictly for personal, non-commercial, informational, or educational use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any information obtained from this Site without prior written executive authorization from So FLYE.

3. User Conduct and Portal Security

If you utilize our secure enrollment or student portfolios portals, you agree to maintain the strict confidentiality of any account credentials, usernames, or passwords. You accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

When interacting with our Site, you explicitly agree NOT to:

  • Post, upload, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, harmful, or infringes upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

  • Use any automated data-scraping, robots, spiders, or similar data extraction methods to harvest information from our Site.

  • Attempt to breach, bypass, or compromise the security architecture, servers, or firewalls protecting the So FLYE digital network.

  • Use the Site or its digital tools to distribute malicious software, viruses, or phishing links.

 

4. User-Generated Content and Student Portfolios

Our educational model leverages public "Product Launches" and verified student portfolios. By uploading, presenting, or submitting any project work, code, or data visualizations to public-facing areas of the Site or during designated "Demo Days":

  • You warrant that you own or possess the necessary rights to use and distribute said content.

  • You grant So FLYE a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, and share this content strictly for institutional advancement, educational validation, marketing, and charter accountability documentation. This section is subject to the limitations set forth in our Privacy Policy and federal FERPA regulations.

 

5. Third-Party Links and AI Orchestration Tools

This Site may contain integrated links, frameworks, or access points to third-party software, applications, and advanced artificial intelligence platforms (e.g., Python environments, data visualization software, learning management systems). So FLYE does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, operational mechanics, or terms of use of any third-party websites or tools. Your interactions with these external tools are governed solely by those respective entities.

 

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and all its contents are provided on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis. So FLYE makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the continuous availability, error-free operation, accuracy of metrics, or security of the digital Site. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, So FLYE disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the School of Future Leaders and Young Entrepreneurs, its Board of Directors, superintendent, faculty, corporate partners, or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on information obtained from the Site, data loss, server downtime, or computer viruses.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless So FLYE, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your unauthorized or illicit use of the Site.

 

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Denton County, Texas, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

10. Modifications to Terms

In alignment with our culture of Continuous Improvement and Agile Administration, So FLYE reserves the right to modify or

replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued utilization of the Site following the posting of modifications constitutes formal acceptance of the updated Terms.
